We want to share this enthusiasm (which has brought us good luck in our lives for years)

with people who are interested and have the courage to embrace the unknown!

During the warm months between May and October,

we offer interested people the opportunity to

sculpt natural stone.

In the idyllic, green outdoor area of our retreat, we offer:

An easy-to-understand introduction to the basic principles of stone processing

Restrained supportive assistance in developing and implementing your own ideas

Traditional tools and, of course, the appropriate stone material.

The main material used is sandstone, which is very old.

You can develop your own ideas and implement designs that you have worked on.

Each participant will experience the indescribable feeling of their own strength and creativity and inscribe their own unmistakable form of expression on their workpiece.

No previous knowledge of sculpture or experience is assumed and is expressly not necessary
for the success of the course.

The available and carefully selected stones: 

Sandstone, alabaster and limestone are easy to work with
and relatively simple to shape.

Summer courses - upon individual registration

Courses in July from 1.07. to 18.07.2026

>  The duration of the course can be chosen freely, depending on the scope of your design idea.

>  Times: Monday–Saturday, 10 am–6 pm

>  Location:  Voderup 4, DK 5970 Ærøskøbing

>  Price per day: 900 DKK incl. VAT

plus a one-off tool fee of 370 DKK incl. VAT

Courses in August from 10.08. to 23.08.2026

>  The duration of the course can be chosen freely, depending on the scope of your design idea.

>  Times: Monday–Saturday, 10 am–6 pm

>  Location:  Voderup 4, DK 5970 Ærøskøbing

>  Price per day: 900 DKK incl. VAT

plus a one-off tool fee of 370 DKK incl. VAT

Registration for the summer course

To register, simply complete the following form, save it and send it back by e-mail to post@poesiisten.dk.
After you have transferred the advance payment, you are booked and can look forward to participating.
We will confirm this with an email and remind you of the date shortly before the course.
The entire course fee must be paid by the start of the course.
If you have any questions, just write them in the registration form.
